Set2Serve Awards Scholarship to East Club Participant
East Boys & Girls Club member Marquis was awarded a scholarship to attend the Set2Serve tennis camp over the week of spring break due to his work ethic, sportsmanship, and skill. Set2Serve has been coming to the Boys & Girls East Club for years. Club Director Leo Santana says that "The Set2Serve mentors really care about our kids and work hard to offer them not only lessons about the game of tennis but teach them about respect, sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and the list could go on and on. We appreciate all that they do and hope that they continue to offer our kids this great opportunity."

"Through his tennis program, Coach Kevin teaches more than just tennis - he teaches life skills. He cares about every one of his students and emphasizes leadership, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others. All students spend some time mentoring younger players and time working with players at the next level of skill."  Coach Kevin has teamed up with Coach Jason at Travis Country Tennis!!We are happy to be running a full service tennis program for the Austin area youth and adults too! You can check it out HERE!

Alumni letter of endorsement! "I was introduced to Set2Serve as a program reaching out to students in the Boys and Girls Club in an effort to make a difference in their lives. Before soon, tennis became a big part of my life and I was unwarily being subjected to the life lessons in which Set2Serve is rooted.
These life lessons included: Giving back, hard work, and how to handle adversity. These lessons were far reaching, but dependent on tennis as the medium in which they were taught. To this day, I hold these life lessons close to me and consider them when moving forward with my life. I have now been a proctor for my High School, a teacher for a non-profit, and a mentor for my University. I believe all of these mutually beneficial involvements are rooted in lessons I learned from Set2Serve and the coaches who mentored me. Set2Serve encourages people to be better, and in turn, fosters better communities." Having fun with the Bryan Brothers!!!
These guys are wonderful people and awesome tennis players!! They took time out from Davis Cup to play with many kiddos from the Austin area and Yes!! Set 2 Serve was there having a blast! A special thanks to the Bryan brothers for making the event so much fun!
